Title: Robotics Engineering That Connects Simulation With Real Operations

North Vancouver, BC, Canada, 29th Oct 2026 - A robot has to work within the conditions of the place where people use it. A mobile platform might encounter a blocked route, a weak wireless connection, or a sensor that has become unreliable. An industrial system may need to fit an existing production process and the people maintaining it. Those conditions should shape the engineering from the beginning.I am Paul George Savluc, founder and CEO of OpenQQuantify, and I am interested in joining a robotics or automation team. I am open to a company of any size, including a startup developing its first platform or a large organization improving established operations. My interests connect robotics software, AI, electronics, simulation, and product development. The contribution I want to make is practical: help a team define what its system must do, make the interfaces understandable, and build evidence that the behavior is reliable enough for its intended use.The public Robotics Platforms repository on my GitHub account provides teaser material for that conversation. It includes software and documentation concerning digital twins, simulation, and hardware development. I welcome employers reviewing the repository and discussing which parts are relevant to the platform they are building.Define the mission and its limitsBefore discussing autonomy, I would ask what the robot is expected to accomplish and where it is expected to operate. A platform moving materials through a warehouse has different requirements from a machine inspecting agricultural equipment or supporting a manufacturing cell. For a hypothetical warehouse pilot, I would want the team to define the routes, loads, operating hours, and people who share the space. We would also need to understand how tasks are assigned,...
