Title: PowerRoute Electric & Plumbing Expands Plumbing Services Across Greater Los Angeles

Van Nuys, California, United States, 5th Aug 2026 - PowerRoute Electric & Plumbing, announced an expansion of its plumbing division across Greater Los Angeles. The expansion adds crews and same-day capacity for repiping, sewer work, water heater installation, and commercial plumbing throughout Los Angeles, the San Fernando Valley, and the San Gabriel Valley. Two shifts in the LA housing market drive the added capacity. The first is accessory dwelling unit construction. Los Angeles has issued more than 20,000 ADU permits since 2017, and ADUs now account for roughly one in five new homes built in California. Every ADU requires a complete plumbing rough-in, a sewer lateral tie-in or upgrade, a dedicated water heater, and in most cases new electrical service from the main panel. Few contractors hold licenses for both sides of the job."An ADU looks small on paper, but the utility work behind one touches every trade," said Albert Castillo of PowerRoute Electric & Plumbing. "One team handling the sewer tie-in, the water lines, the panel work, and the inspections keeps a backyard project from turning into a six-month scheduling exercise."The second shift is happening in the water heater market. The current California Energy Code steers new and remodeled homes toward tankless and heat pump water heaters, and utility rebate programs reward the switch. These installations sit at the intersection of both trades. A heat pump water heater needs a dedicated circuit and panel capacity along with new water and condensate lines. PowerRoute completes the full scope with one contractor and coordinates LADBS permitting and inspections. The expanded Los Angeles plumbing division handles whole-home repiping, drain cleaning, leak detection, slab leak repair, sewer line repair and replace...
