After watching his wife run away from the counseling session, saying that their marriage was over, and having the counselor say “Let her go,” Paul Arata is convinced that he must write to her to reinstate the passion of their relationship.He finds the short story he previously wrote in a writing class at New York University, describing how he first met her at a bar in Brooklyn, where his opening line to her was that he was having some serious roommate problems. He continues writing the story from there, describing how he fell in love with Holly while his roommate’s problems continued to get more ridiculous every day.The result is Serious Roommate Problems, the first book in a planned two-part romantic comedy series published by Hambone US.
