Shakara Trybe, the African fashion brand and cultural community, presents A Shakara Christmas, featuring Nigeria's first ever Christmas tree constructed entirely from indigenous fabrics donated by Nigerians across the country.The monumental installation will stand at the JK Randle Centre for Yoruba Culture & History on Lagos Island, where hundreds of fabrics representing tribes, families, and personal stories from across Nigeria have been woven together into a breathtaking symbol of national unity. Each piece of cloth carries memory and meaning. Aso Oke from Yoruba ceremonies, Akwete from Eastern celebrations, hand-woven textiles from Northern communities.
