Title: VNNIC and APAC IPv6 Council Sign MoU to Strengthen Regional IPv6 Collaboration at APNIC 60
Da Nang, Viet Nam – 25 September 2025 – The Viet Nam Internet Network Information Center (VNNIC) and the Asia Pacific IPv6 Council (APAC IPv6 Council) today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) during the APNIC 60 conference in Da Nang, formalizing their cooperation to accelerate IPv6 adoption and strengthen Internet development across the Asia-Pacific region.The MoU was signed by Mr. Nguyen Hong Thang, Director General of VNNIC, and Prof. Emeritus Dr. Sureswaran Ramadass, Chairman of the APAC IPv6 Council. The signing ceremony was witnessed by Mr. Le Ngoc Duc, Mr. Nguyen Truong Giang, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Thuy and Ms. Nguyen Thi Oanh from VNNIC, Mr. Abdul Karim Fakir Ali (Managing Director), Ms. Fatin Nabiha Abd Aziz (Head ASEAN and Bilateral Affairs Department) and Mr. Muhammad Afiq Ammar Tulos (Director II, Licensing and Monitoring Division) from Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC), and Dr. Devesh Tyagi (Honorary Advisor) and Vallikkannu Nagappan (Chief Secretary) from APAC IPv6 Council.Under this agreement, the two organizations will collaborate through:Exchange of information and sharing of technical knowledge, documentation, and best practices in IPv6 deployment.Mutual participation in events, allowing representatives from each side to join conferences and congresses for knowledge exchange and branding purposes.Joint contributions to publications and thought leadership on IPv6 and emerging Internet technologies.Exchange of experts to support knowledge transfer and capacity building.Mutual use of names and logos (with permission) in publicity materials to promote cooperation.This collaboration framework will be valid for an initial period of three years, with automatic extensions for successive two-year terms unless otherwise agreed.Mr. Ng...
