Malaysia, 21st Jul 2025 – The 3rd APAC IPv6 Council Meeting, co-hosted by Dr. MGR Educational & Research Institute, held on July 10th and 11th, 2025, at Novotel Chennai Chamiers Road, convened over 70 participants from across the Asia-Pacific region, representing government agencies, academia, telecom giants, internet registries, and technical communities. The two-day summit marked a significant step forward in advancing the adoption, security, and policy ecosystem of IPv6, the future of internet addressing. Organized by the APAC IPv6 Council, the event reflected its three-pronged mission: Accelerating IPv6 Deployment, Fostering Cross-Border Collaboration, and Technical and Policy Capacity Building.Held on July 10, 2025, Day 1 focused on high-level discussions and regional collaboration. Prof. Emeritus Dr. Sureswaran Ramadass, Chairman of APAC Ipv6 Council, and Dr. Latif Ladid, Honarary Advisor of APAC IPv6 Council and President of IPv6 Forum, inaugurated the event, emphasizing multistakeholder collaboration and the critical need to accelerate IPv6 adoption in light of growing digital demand.Dr. Devesh Tyagi, CEO of NIXI, shared India's robust IPv6 roadmap, highlighting strong public-private collaboration, large-scale IPv6 traffic routing, and ISP readiness.
