Industrial designer Seung Keun Kim has been honored with a Silver award at the 2025 MUSE Design Awards for HomeBox, a smart and secure delivery solution designed to meet the rising demand for safe, unattended package storage in the modern home.HomeBox is a fully integrated system that blends durable physical design with intuitive digital functionality. Engineered for both indoor and outdoor use, the product features a weather-resistant stainless steel body, real-time delivery detection via a built-in weight sensor, and a companion mobile app that enables users to track packages using carrier-provided tracking IDs. When a delivery is made, the system automatically notifies the user, offering peace of mind even when they are away from home.Kim led the HomeBox project independently from start to finish, overseeing research, industrial design, engineering, and visual development. He also led the design of the HomeBox app, integrating a clean, intuitive interface for real-time delivery tracking.
