With new regulations set to take effect on July 25, 2024, the city is implementing the 2024 CALGreen Mid-Cycle update to ensure that all new residential and commercial developments are equipped with EV-ready parking spaces or installed chargers.This expansion aligns with Santa Monica’s EV Action Plan and the Climate Action & Adaptation Plan, aiming to reduce carbon emissions by increasing EV accessibility and supporting sustainable transportation.
