Introduced in 2019, this digital authorization is mandatory and incurs a one-time International Visitor Conservation and Tourism Levy (IVL) fee. Required documents include a valid passport, email, payment method, and a completed NZeTA application form.NEW ZEALAND VISA FOR BRAZILIAN CITIZENSBrazilian individuals can now choose to request a digital travel permit called the New Zealand Electronic Travel Authority (NZeTA). This waiver enables eligible travelers from more than 190 countries, including Brazil, to come to New Zealand for various purposes such as tourism, business, and transit. Starting from October 1, 2019, Brazilians must possess the NZeTA, despite it not being classified as a visa. Brazilian citizens wanting to travel to New Zealand without a visa need to get a New Zealand eTA in advance. Those who follow New Zealand's visa exemption regulations can visit the country without a visa by obtaining an Electronic Travel Authorization. The New Zealand eTA is valid for two years, permits multiple entries, and enables stays of up to 90 days per visit. New Zealand has implemented another new requirement called International Visitor Conservation and Tourism Levy NZ (IVL), which will be compulsory for certain travelers starting on 1 October 2019. The goal of the eTA NZ requirements is to enhance both national and cross-border security while also easing international travel.
