Currently, individuals from 169 countries can apply for an electronic visa to travel to India. All Greek citizens are eligible to apply for any of the three Indian eVisas available. The Indian eVisa allows for travel and visiting relatives and friends in India. Furthermore, an electronic tourist visa for India is valid for a period of 365 days from the date of issue. Greek citizens who have a Tourist e-Visa can enter and exit India multiple times during their 90-day visit. Greek residents have the opportunity to engage in a range of activities while holding an India e-business visa, including selling goods, attending meetings, and exploring exhibitions and fairs. Just like the eVisitor visa, this authorization is valid for 365 days. Greek business travelers are allowed to stay in India for a maximum of 180 days per year, which they can choose to use all at once or divide among multiple trips. If a Greek citizen requires medical treatment in India, they must apply for the e-Medical Visa for India. This travel document has a shorter validity period, 120 days from the date of issue, it is triple-entry and allows you to a total stay of 60 days. In order to obtain any of the above permits, Greek citizens must complete the India e-Visa Application Form.
