CANADA VISA FOR BAHAMIAN NATIONALSStarting from 2016, people from the Bahamas must get a Canadian eTA visa waiver to visit Canada. Under Canadian visa regulations, citizens of The Bahamas are exempt from requiring a visa for entry into Canada. Bahamian nationals must secure a Canadian eTA visa for brief visits to Canada, such as for vacations, business trips, layovers, or medical reasons. Even if the expiration date of the passport goes beyond five years, the visa waiver will still be valid until that same date. Beginning in 2016, authorities have introduced the Canada eTA, a convenient online form accessible to residents of Brunei and 59 additional nations.
